Why State-Level Advocacy Matters
Through our advocacy efforts, West Virginia Association of Pathologists members are having a direct impact on key issues facing pathologists and the practice of pathology. Together, we are helping to ensure that state and local legislators have a thorough understanding of how pending legislation such as scope of practice and network adequacy will impact our profession and the health of our patients. We are also working to ensure fair compensation for the important work pathologists perform.
